Excursion to the Blue Mountains

On Friday, Year 7 went on a excursion to the Blue Mountains.

Many students had not yet seen the Three Sisters and couldn't get enough pictures of them and the surrounding landscapes from different angles. In three groups the Year 7's walked from Echo Point to The Scenic Railway. It was a little muddy and slightly challenging but we made it there in one piece. Some were more muddy than others.

Please comment on this post with two pieces of information
1) An interesting fact that you learnt during the excursion
2) The most enjoyable part of the excursion

Mount Everest and the Sherpa

It has been another busy two weeks at school.

7J have been learning about Mount Everest in Geography and watched a great DVD on the epic journey up the incredible mountain.

Write your comments below about  the role of the  Sherpa people.
