Excursion to the Blue Mountains

On Friday, Year 7 went on a excursion to the Blue Mountains.

Many students had not yet seen the Three Sisters and couldn't get enough pictures of them and the surrounding landscapes from different angles. In three groups the Year 7's walked from Echo Point to The Scenic Railway. It was a little muddy and slightly challenging but we made it there in one piece. Some were more muddy than others.

Please comment on this post with two pieces of information
1) An interesting fact that you learnt during the excursion
2) The most enjoyable part of the excursion

had an awesome time on friday.my group counted the steps and there was on 900 steps. the most enjoyable part would be the walk all together and an interesting fact is the eurosion of the earth had misshaped the rocks and thats how the three sisters got their shape :)

I learnt that there are 400types of animals in the park including 265 species of birds! There are also 4000 types of moths and butterflies!
The best part was yelling koe-ee at the mountains and hearing the echo :)

For me the most fun thing was when we went on the scenic railway. On this excursion I learnt that the three sisters are over 900 metres tall and that there were actually 7 sisters and not 3.
